I am pleased to report that Saturday, February 5, 2011, Stonecroft recieved the best pledge class at DePauw University. It was a long process, which you all know about, but we claimed victory and are ecstatic about our new pledge class. We are starting the second semester here at DePauw as well as ATO. As we all moved into the house, we welcomed brothers that were away and potential new Taus we were eager to meet. The first round of rush went well, containing a lot of new prospects the house hopes to see in the up coming rounds. All of us here at the house are excited for the semester to get under way with sports, new pledges, and events we have going on. Talk to you all soon.

Hey guys,

This is an exciting time for the ATO household. The next few weekends are jammed pack with many different things going on. This weekend is Halloween and we are hosting are Costume Contest on Saturday @ 6 outside of East College as a fall philanthropy. The money raised at this event will go to the Timmy Foundation, in which some ATO’s take part in such as Max Hudson (senior) and Wes Troja (Junior). The Foundation provides medicine and medical supplies to missionaries who go to third world countries to help those in need. Not only are the Taus raising money, we are giving money away as well. In the picture above, Louis Wallis (sophomore) and a few other Taus are giving money to FIJI for their pumpkin carving philanthropy. Not only do we raise, we give. As each weekend progresses, I will keep the ATO faithful updated. Peace.

ATO’s in Action…

In May, some ATO’s decided to help local Greencastle grade schooler’s learn and get interested in science. DePauw held a science interest day where students from the local grade school came to learn about the different fields of science, such as biochemistry, chemistry, and geoscience. Needing assistance, DePauw asked local fraternity members to help out, working one on one with the students. ATO stepped up and members such as Chip Johnson, Chip Shields, Matt Skura, Louis Wallis, and Alex Paul all lent a helping hand and made the day full of excitement and fun.
